Information activities

All the information activities aim at 1) deepening the knowledge about specific learning disabilities and/or AD(H)D among both specialists and the public; and 2) support cooperation among different institutions, families, and individuals. The activities include the following:

Ø INFORMATION EXCHANGE among the institutions which specialize in work with children with SLD and/or AD(H)D.

Ø Organizing EXHIBITION “DYSKORUNKA”, where DYS-centrum® and many other institutions present and sell their publications, teaching aids, PC programmes, videos and tapes suitable for work with children with SLD and/or AD(H)D. The exhibition also includes workshops and seminars which show the latest methods of assessment and re-education as well as results of current research in the field. We held the 10th exhibition in March 2007.

Ø Annual publication of INFORMATION BROCHURE for particular school year. The brochure offers a complete list of educational activities organized by DYS-centrum® and their brief annotation. It is spread among several hundreds schools, counselling centres and other specialized institutions.

Ø COOPERATION WITH MEDIA – DYS-centrum® has presented information on SLD and/or AD(H)D in several newspapers, on radio and TV programmes.
